This report highlights several remarkable elements from the updated African Energy Information System (AEIS). Firstly, it underscores the remarkable performance of solar, wind, and other renewable energy sources in Africa's electricity production. Compared to the data from the year 2000, we observe a significant increase in the share of these renewable energy sources in the continent's energy mix.
